WBA contribution to ICAO APAC WHM
On behalf of the Worldbirdstrike Association (WBA), we're excited to share highlights from the Sixth Meeting of the Asia/Pacific Wildlife Hazard Management Working Group (AP-WHM WG/6) held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 14-17, 2024. This crucial gathering brought together aviation and wildlife experts to discuss and enhance strategies for managing wildlife hazards at airports. Key discussions included innovative techniques to mitigate wildlife risks and improve the safety of aircraft operations. The meeting underscored the importance of collaborative efforts among stakeholders to tackle the challenges posed by wildlife strikes on aircraft.
